The Membership Committee tracks membership and promotes the Association to prospective transportation providers, vendors, users and agencies that use transportation. They also inform the board of new markets to promote the agency toward.

On June 30, 2010, the FCC announced that the January 1, 2011 deadline to cease manufacture of wideband equipment for UHF/VHF bands (150-174 MHz and 421-512 MHz) has been changed to January 1, 2013.
