CTAV is soliciting funds from companies and individuals to permanently fund a yearly scholarship for transit kids wanting to attend college. If you or your organization can donate money to a great cause please call us at (571) 217-3143. 100% of the money is used for the kids.

2009 Scholarship Awarded!
The Community Transportation Association of Virginia is pleased to announce the winner of our 2009 scholarship is Kimberly Marie Caudill. Her dad, Randy, works at Mt. Rogers CSB and this remarkable young woman will be starting at Emory & Henry College this fall. She’s maintained exemplary grades during her four years of high school (ranked 4 in a class of 288) while being a standout athlete and student leader. In addition to being a volleyball and softball player, she’s in the National Honor Society, the Carroll County, New River Honors and All District Band, Pep, Interact and SADD Clubs, was an officer in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and won 2nd place in Culinary Arts at the State Competition. Kimberly has also demonstrated a strong desire to serve and help others.
We're looking for a 2010 recipient!
The recipient of the $1,000 scholarship will be a Virginia high school senior who has a parent or grandparent employed by an active CTAV member. The form is easy to complete and you could be helping a family member or friend for life.
This scholarship is for any child or grandchild of a CTAV member transit organization who is a high school senior and will be attending college. Download the information and application now. The winner is chosen in the spring and the presentation is made at the yearly summer EXPO and conference.
