CTAV is soliciting funds from companies and individuals to permanently fund a yearly scholarship for transit kids wanting to attend college. If you or your organization can donate money to a great cause please call us at (571) 217-3143. 100% of the money is used for the kids.

2011 Scholarship Awarded!

The Community Transportation Association of Virginia is pleased to announce the winner of our 2011 scholarship is Taylor Alexandra Paige. Her dad, Ben Paige, is Lead Scheduler for JAUNT.  Taylor has a 3.7 GPA, is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the honor societies for Spanish, Math and English.  She was also third team all-district in Lacrosse this year and coached youth basketball.  This remarkable young woman will be starting at the University of Mary Washington this fall and graduated from Monticello High School in Albemarle County.  

We're looking for a 2012 recipient!

The recipient of the $1,000 scholarship will be a Virginia high school senior who has a parent or grandparent employed by an active CTAV member. The form is easy to complete and you could be helping a family member or friend for life.

This scholarship is for any child or grandchild of a CTAV member transit organization who is a high school senior and will be attending college. Download the information and application now. The winner is chosen in the spring and the presentation is made at the yearly summer EXPO and conference.
